LARS: THE PHOTOGRAPHER\TECHNOLOGIST

My name is Lars.  I have traveled the world and seen more than 40 different countries.  But no matter how far I travel, nothing amazes me more than the striking beauty and environmental diversity of the Pacific Northwest USA.  Since I am very fortunate to be living right in the backyard of such an alluring part of our biosphere, I am compelled to use my proclivity for photography to share it with the world.  By day, I’m a technology professional.  By night, and on weekends, I’m a photography enthusiast.  My best friend Marshall and I travel great distances into the Pacific Northwest wilderness to capture a photo-journalistic perspective of the beautiful area we live in.  We hike, trek, canyoneer, and bushwack our way to the best vistas.  I call the collection of Pacific Northwest photographs on this website my “WAY OUT WEST” series.  If you enjoy the “WAY OUT WEST” series of photo experiences, you may also enjoy taking a tour of the international section of this website as well.  

MARSHALL: THE GUIDE\NATURALIST\BOTANIST

My name is Marshall.  I have been studying botany, ornithology, mycology, and environmental sciences all my adult life.  My specialty is in the area of fungi, mosses, and lichens.  Together with my best friend and photography freak we journey way, way, way out west to document all that is truly Pacific Northwest.  When I am not moving hydrogen dioxide particles, or guiding my best friend out into the wilderness I love to explore cooking.  Have you ever gone swimming in a pure glacier fed northwest waterfall?  Have you ever seen the brilliance of a lush alpine lake?  Have you ever peered across a dozen snow capped cascade mountain peaks in the same vista?  If the answer is no then spend some time with Lars and I way out west to elevate your senses.
